    SIMAI Holds the Donation Ceremony for the “Eyeskey-Peak” Fund

    The donation ceremony forthe“Eyeskey-Peak” Fund was heldatZUFE’s Xiasha campus on December 6. Hangzhou Eyeskey Optical Instrument Co., Ltd. donated RMB 300,000 to the School of Information Management and Artificial Intelligence for the establishment of the “Eyeskey-Peak” Fund.Among other people, Mr. Xu Xiaodong,Member of the ZUFE CPC Committee and Vice President of ZUFE, and Mr. Wang Jianping, the Company’s GeneralManager and an alumnus of ZUFE who graduated in 2008, attended the ceremony.

    Mr. Xu remarked that the establishment of the “Eyeskey-Peak” Fund embodied the sincere feeling of an alumni towards ZUFE and reflected his care and support for the development of ZUFE.To enable the Fund to play a greater role in cultivating postgraduate students, ZUFE will conscientiously execute the provisions of the donation agreement and continuously innovate working methods and approaches to improve the quality of talent cultivation.

    Mr. Wang regarded this homecoming as a trip to express gratitude to his alma mater, and he said that the establishment of the “Eyeskey-Peak” Fund was to support the scientific research and the innovative education of postgraduate students intheSchool of Information Management and Artificial Intelligence to cultivate more high-level and versatile postgraduates who meet social needs.

    At the donation ceremony, Mr. Xu Xiaodong accepted the donation check from Mr. Wang Jianping on behalf of ZUFE and presented himwitha donation certificate and a memorial cup. Ms. Zhang Hongying,Director of the Office of Social Cooperation, and Mr. Zhang Shuai,Dean of SIMAI, signed the Donation Agreement with Mr. Wang.

    There was also a reward ceremonyforthe “Eyeskey-Peak” scholarship after the donation ceremony. Mr. Wang Jianping rewarded prizes and honorary certificates to eight 2022 postgraduates of SIMAI who were admitted to prestigious universities for their doctorate studying.

    The heads of the Office of Social Cooperation, Office of Planning and Finance, and SIMAI participated in the activities.
